Our Story

Born from a bond stronger than blueprints and paint palettes, The Design Ellements is the brainchild of two passionate creatives, Srushti Dhamecha and Dishank Kamdar. What began as a shared love for design during their college days at ITM-IDM Mumbai soon transformed into a full-fledged design partnership. After gaining valuable experience in the industry, they officially teamed up, starting with their very first project, The Liner House. It was a wild ride, a huge learning curve, and the project that made them realize they were an unstoppable team. Three years and countless beautiful projects later, they’re still going strong.

Meet the Minds Behind the Magic

Based in Mumbai, our studio thrives on passion, precision, and personality. We don’t just design interiors; we translate emotions into environments. Every space—from homes to offices and everything in between—is approached with heart and honesty because we believe that spaces should not only look beautiful but also feel like you.

The "creative kid" who never really grew up, Srushti has been crafting and designing for as long as she can remember. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her time at a large firm, where she managed major projects like a duplex at Four Seasons Private Residences and two massive Godrej clubhouses. Her passion for technical precision and her keen eye for design help TDE navigate challenges and deliver exceptional results.

The artist, dancer, and visionary. Dishank knew from a young age that he wanted to be in a creative field. He's always been drawn to crafting and creating, a passion that led him to work for two companies before taking the leap to start his own firm. With hands-on experience in everything from design execution to client communication, he brings a perfect blend of practical know-how and creative energy to every project.

For us, the most exciting part of the job is the moment a proposed design becomes a reality. Nothing beats seeing a client’s big, satisfying smile when they see their vision come to life. Okay, well, maybe one thing comes close: selection days! Sifting through endless materials and watching a complete palette come together is a special kind of thrill we can’t quite describe—it’s like our version of a treasure hunt.

Our personal design philosophy is simple: clean, thoughtful, and intentional. We gravitate towards modern minimal and modern contemporary styles, ensuring every element has a purpose. We believe in letting a space speak for itself through a careful balance of textures, tones, and materials. Lately, we’ve also fallen in love with Japandi, a beautiful blend of Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian functionality that perfectly aligns with our love for calm, harmonious spaces.
